I Ė tís been a year now since you were gone,
R- eminiscing your memory, it fills my mind,
E- ven when Iím asleep, your words linger on,
N-ever left at all my heart and soul behind,
E-ver saying, rise up my poetess, my lilíone.

A-las! These tears of missing you never stop,
N-o one ever lifted me with words high enough,
D-onít mind people, you said, pull yourself up!
R-aise yourself! Prove yourself! Reach the top!
E-xalting words you gave shines in my heart,
S-hines brightest, never to fade, never to part.

M-ommy, your words sound, your wisdom wise,
E-xtol me up, wherever, in all days of my life,
R-ain may fall hard enough from darkest skies,
C-louds may drop down to blind my poor eyes,
A-bove the rock, I shall win, I shall stand up high,
D-reary, tough roads shall clear as I pass by,
O-ver the mountains and down the vales of my life.

M-y daughter, you said, be not afraid of any fear,
A-ccept your destiny for God always stands near,
G-ain your confidence back, the Lord shall be,
T-ruly your comfort, your guide and company.
U-nto you, Oh Mommy, I send my fullest love,
L-ove that will never flicker, that will never die,
O-h Mom! Catch my poem at your dwelling above,
Y-our Marites tossed it for you, do catch it byÖ
